From Friday 21 April to Tuesday 25 April, we offer a full immersion course in offshore sailing, suitable for those who want to deepen their sailing experience and for those who want to take advantage of the long weekend of April 25 for a short but intense holiday .

This holiday is dedicated to those approaching sailing for the first time, to beginners who want to learn more about sailing directly with boat trips and to carers wishing for a vacation on a sailing boat.
Not only sailing but also relaxation to discover our beautiful islands, Procida, Ischia, Capri and Ventotene. Breathtaking coves, unforgettable sunsets, history, culture and gastronomy without missing out on beautiful evenings to spend on land.
The course takes place with an instructor on board and will take place on a 17-meter offshore boat The aim of the course is to make known in depth the notions of sailing, both theoretical and practical. The course is structured in 4 full immersion days: theory lessons on the boat and practice in sailing.

the hull structure,
the winds,
the sea,
the nomenclature,
the sails,
the settings,
the gaits,
the basic nodes, ·
driving the boat,
the manoeuvres,
the tack,
the jib,
· maneuvers in port, mooring and anchoring. · Safety at sea; and equipment of the vessel. Skills achieved at the end of the course: · Acquisition of the concepts of bow-stern and windward-leeward · Balance and movement safely on board · Basic interpretation of meteorological signals · Maintenance of direction before short navigations · Nomenclature · Haze reduction · Main Nodes · Change of direction and tack, with relative adjustment of the sails · Awareness of the need for an adequate use of environmental resources, avoiding waste. A certificate of participation as an instructor will be issued

HOW TO GET THERE
The port of Naples Mergellina is easily reachable by Metro, Bus and Taxi, from Central Station and Airport. For those who wish, you can request a private transfer.
CLIMATE
The spring weather on our side gives us beautiful hot days that cool off in the evening, it is recommended to dress in layers, for example: thermal t-shirt, sweatshirt, windbreaker, sweatshirt pants without forgetting the costume. The boat has a heating system and blankets for everyone, included in the quota sheets and bath towels.
GALLEY
Our guests find the galley already on board including drinks for meals and aperitifs, we choose only fresh and top quality foods.
